wants color. i love the Brownies book. i have an ancient one with some torn and missing pages, and i was anticipating a book similar to that. i was not surprised when the book i received was not exactly like that old book of mine, but i was rather surprised that the sketches were all in black and white. the little brownies were all so similar and were known for the color of their socks, caps /5(3).   I also didn’t want to risk any extra lumps since I needed the brownies to be nice and book-like! 🙂 We’re gonna preheat the oven to degrees and spray an 8×8 glass dish with cooking spray. In a large bowl, sift together 1 C of white sugar, 1/3 C unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 C flour, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp baking powder.
